Let’s be real, Mondays can make or break your week, especially if you’re juggling mum life, full-time work, running a business, or just handling life’s endless to-do list. That’s why Sundays are sacred for me. It’s my secret weapon for stepping into the week feeling prepared, not overwhelmed.
Here are my top Sunday habits that keep me ahead of the chaos:
🔹 Meal Planning with Purpose
If you’re not planning your meals, you’re scrambling. I don’t have time to waste figuring out what to eat midweek, I need to be fueled and focused. Prepping meals on Sunday means fewer decisions and more energy where it matters.
🔹 Mapping Out My Week
Every Sunday, I sit down and write out my key tasks and goals, both personal and professional. And for me, that's written down in front of me in a diary. Seeing everything clearly keeps me organised, accountable, and motivated.
🔹 Prioritising Family Time
Spending quality time with loved ones is a non-negotiable. Whether it’s a big family lunch or a quiet evening with Nic and the pups, making space to connect keeps me grounded before the week kicks off.
🔹 Making Time for Myself
Life is chaotic, and sometimes you just need a moment to breathe. A bath, a coffee walk, a face mask, whatever it is, I make sure to squeeze in even a small pocket of self-care to reset my mind and body before the week ahead.
🔹 Monday Workout = Non-Negotiable
A Monday training session is my way of setting the tone for the entire week. It’s not just about fitness; it’s about discipline, resilience, and proving to myself that I can show up no matter what.
At the end of the day, my week doesn’t start on Monday, it starts on Sunday . Planning ahead, prioritising my needs, and setting clear intentions helps me stay in control, rather than playing catch-up. These aren’t just habits, they’re the foundation for showing up as my best self in every area of life.
