Is Your Group Training The One?

Is Your Group Training The One?

January 23, 20262 min read

With so many group fitness options out there, it’s easy to think all classes are basically the same.

They’re not.

If you want training that actually supports your body, results and consistency, here are a few things that matter more than people realise.

1. Coaching quality

The coach sets the tone for everything.

Good coaching means:
• clear explanations
• attention to technique & details
• options for different abilities
• knowing when to push and when to pull back

The coach gets the absolute best out of you for your session, while also making it the most enjoyable 45 minutes of your day.

2. Class size

Bigger isn’t always better.

Large classes can feel energetic, but they often come at a cost. Smaller group training allows for real coaching, adjustments and support in a more personalised setting. The right size lets you feel seen, and not invisible in the room.

3. Structure and variety

A good class isn’t random.

Look for sessions that are planned, progressive and purposeful. Variety should exist, but within a structure that makes sense. This is how strength, fitness and real results actually occur over time.

Consistency beats novelty every time.

4. Atmosphere

The environment matters more than the workout.

The best group training environments feel welcoming, encouraging and inclusive. When the atmosphere is supportive, people move better, train more consistently and enjoy the process more.

5. Practicality

Even the best program won’t work if it doesn’t fit your life.

Location, session times and ease of booking all matter. The simpler it is to show up, the more likely you are to stay consistent.

Training shouldn’t feel like another thing to manage.

This is what makes group training work long-term. And this is why we do group training the way we do.

See you in the studio
