Easter doesn’t need to derail your journey.
A few days off routine, some extra chocolate, slower mornings… that’s part of life.
What matters is how you approach it.
One weekend won’t undo your progress
Your results come from what you do consistently, not occasionally
Health & fitness is a lifestyle, not a strict plan you “fall off”
Reframe it:
Easter isn’t a setback. It’s part of your normal life, and your health & fitness fit into your normal life.
You don’t need to “earn” your food.
Go for a walk with family
Get outside for fresh air
Try something different like a beach walk, hike, or family sports game
If you feel like training, do it!
Goal:stay active without adding pressure.
You don’t need to be perfect, just stay anchored to a few key habits:
Drink water with your meals
Prioritise protein where you can
Add some fibre to stay full and balanced
These small things make a big difference without overthinking it.
Chocolate and Easter meals are part of the experience.
Eat slowly & be present in the moment
Pay attention to when you feel satisfied
Avoid the “all or nothing” mindset
You’re an adult, you can have chocolate whenever you want.
There’s no need to cram it all into one weekend like it’s your only chance, then swing back to “I’ll never have it again.”
Enjoy the break.
Rest. Eat. Spend time with people you care about.
Then come back to your routine without guilt.
That’s what long-term progress actually looks like.
