Banana & Almond Energy Bars

Looking for a quick snack to pair with your coffee pre-workout - look no further.

Ingredients

  • 2 bananas

  • 150 g Cup Rolled oats

  • 10 g Coconut oil (melted)

  • 25 g Ground Flaxseeds

  • 50 g Mashed dates (6 pcs)

  • 20 g Chopped almonds

  • 0.5 g Ground cinnamon

Method

  • Mash the dates with a fork, then peel and mash your banana together with the dates in a large bowl.

  • Add remaining ingredients and mix well.

  • Line a baking tray with paper, transfer the mixture and top with another sheet of paper.

  • With a rolling pin, evenly flatten the mixture to desired thickness.

  • Bake in a pre-heated oven for 20 minutes at 180ºC.

  • Once they are cooled, cut into slices and enjoy!
